Chicken 65


Chicken 65 is a very popular starter item. It is a much demanded item in restaurants.
It is easy to prepare and require very less ingredients
.
Ingredients
1.     Chicken pieces                                       - 6 nos
2.     Turmeric powder                                    - ½ tsp
3.     Kashmiri red chilli powder                        - 1 tsp
4.     Coriander powder                                   - 1 tsp
5.     Pepper powder                                       - 1.5 tsp
6.     Lime juice                                              - 1 tsp
7.     Corn flour                                               - 2 tsp
8.     Salt                                                        - to taste
9.     Ginger-garlic paste                                 - 1 tsp
10. Oil                                                         - as required
11. Curry leaves                                           - 20 nos
Method: Clean the chicken pieces and marinate it using the above ingredients except oil and curry leaves. Alternatively, you can grind all the ingredients except chicken and oil to a fine paste and marinate over the chicken.
Let it rest for 1 hour.
Heat oil in a pan and  shallow fry the chicken pieces covering it with a lid so that the pieces are well cooked inside. Flip all sides to allow it to cook evenly.
Remove from oil. In the same oil fry the currry leaves and pour over the chicken pieces.
Serve hot
