Microwave Banana Peanut Cake



Microwave cakes are easy to make. It takes just 10 minutes and your cake is ready. I have already posted a sponge cake and a dark chocolate cake. Today, I thought of trying a different one. As the name suggests, it is a banana peanut butter cake.


Ingredients
  1. Banana ( mashed)                                 - 1 no:
  2. Flour                                                     - 1 cup
  3. Castor sugar                                         - 1 cup
  4. Peanut butter                                        - 1 tbsp
  5. Milk                                                      - ¼ cup
  6. Egg                                                      - 1 no:
  7. Baking Powder                                      - 1 tsp
  8. Vanilla essence                                     - ½ tsp

Method: Sieve maida and baking powder together.
To this add powdered sugar and mix well.
Add the other ingredients one by one and beat well to form a smooth batter.
Grease a microwave bowl with oil and flour and pour the batter to it.
Bake on high for 7 mts. ( Power settings for each microwave is different. So, please check if the cake is cooked after 5mts with a toothpick. If not cooked, allow additional 1 or 2 mts).
Take out the cake and allow it to cool. Cut and serve.
