Microwave Dark Chocolate Cake




Baking a cake is time consuming. How about an easy microwave chocolate cake in 5mts?


Ingredients
  1. Maida                                                   - 2 cups
  2. Eggs                                                     - 2 nos
  3. Powdered Sugar                                   - 1 cup
  4. Oil                                                        - 1/2 cup
  5. Milk                                                      - 1 cup
  6. Melted dark chocolate                           - 3 tbsp
  7. Vanilla Essence                                     - 1 tsp
  8. Baking Powder                                      - 1 tsp

Method: Sieve maida and baking powder together.
To this add powdered sugar and mix well.
Add the other ingredients one by one and beat well to form a smooth batter.
Grease a microwave bowl with oil and pour the batter to it.
Bake on high for 5 mts. ( Power settings for each microwave is different. So, please check if the cake is cooked after 5mts with a toothpick. If not cooked, allow additional 1 or 2 mts).
Take out the cake and allow it to cool. Cut and serve.
Note: I have used a dark chocolate bar and melted it using double boil method.

This cake has moderate sweetness. If you want it to be little more sweet, you can increase the quantity of sugar.

If you are using cocoa powder, take 3 tbsp.
