Carrot Raita

Raitas can be made using different  ingredients. Raitas are refreshing during summers and  mostly had alongwith rotis and paranthas. Carrots are rich in vitamins and antioxidants  and so this raita is definitely a healthy dish.

Basic info about the recipe
Cuisine                                             - North Indian
Serves                                             - 2 people.

Ingredients:
1.   Grated carrots           - 2 nos
2.   Curd                            - 1.5- 2 cups
3.   Roasted cumin pwdr - ½ tsp
4.   Salt                             - to taste
5.   Pepper powder                   - ¼ tsp
6.   Coriander leaves       - few sprigs
7.   Chaat masala            - ½ tsp.

Method: Beat the curd and keep aside.

 To the curd, add grated carrots, pepper powder, cumin powder,  salt and coriander leaves and mix well.

Sprinkle some chaat masala and serve cold.
