Chilli Pappad fry

Are you bored of eating normal pappads? Then try this. I normally make this dish when I am alone at home and not in a mood to cook too many dishes. This dish is made with South Indian pappadams and goes well with rice. This can also be made with the left over fried pappads.

Basic info about the recipe
Cuisine                                             - South Indian
Serves                                             - 1person

Ingredients:
1.   Fried pappad             - 4-5nos
2.   Onion                          - 1 medium
3.   Dry red chilli               - 2 small
4.   Kashmiri chilli pwdr   - ½ tsp
5.   Oil                               - 1 tsp
6.   Salt                             - to taste
7.   Curry leaves              - 10 nos

Method: Crush the fried pappads.

Grind onion and red chillies. (do not make it a fine paste)

Heat oil in a pan and put the onion-chilli mixture and fry.

Add red chilli powder, salt and curry leaves and fry till golden brown.

Add crushed pappads and stir well. Serve immediately.
