Vegetable Omelette


Omelette is loved by everyone. It is usually made with egg. Some people consider egg to be a non-vegetarian item. So here  is a recipe for those who do not eat egg but likes to have an omelette.

Basic info about the recipe
Cuisine                                     - North Indian
Serves                                      - 2 people

Ingredients:
     1.Besan/ Gram Flour          - 1 cup
     2. Onion                              - 1 large
     3. Tomato                            - 1 large
     4. Green chillies                  - 3-4 nos
     5. Pepper Powder                - 1/2 tsp
     6. Salt                                  - to taste
     7. Refined oil                       - 3 tsp
     8. Coriander leaves             -1 small bunch

Preparation: Add chopped onion, tomato, green chillies and coriander leaves to besan. Add required quantity of water to make a batter of medium consistency.

Add salt and pepper powder. Pour half oil into a pan and spread it evenly. Pour 4 tablespoons of the prepared besan batter to the pan and spread it using a circular motion.

 Let it cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes. Turn it over and let it cook for another 2 minutes.

 Serve hot. Oregano or chat masala can be sprinkled on top as per taste.
